While standard drowning is a known non-method, drowning with drugs is complicated and there's not enough information here to conclude it is a reliable method.

this method also has plenty of risks... if rescued, there could be complications... if there is thrashing while unconscious, one might not be fully in the water, it could also be noisy too

On Paper it sounds simple enough. You get Knocked out into a Unresponsive state (completely possible with OTC drugs as I have personal experience), weights hold you down underwater deep enough that even if you thrash/shake a Bit you still die. But then AI (i know AI is hated here but it's genuinely advanced enough now to help with certain aspects if you prod it right.) specifically Gemini told me that the brain in such circumstances would allow such a state that in 2 minutes the brain transitions seamlessly from a drug-induced sleep directly into a coma. Hypoxia suppresses brain activity even further. Before the medication can wear off, the lack of oxygen shuts down the conscious brain entirely. No pain, No panic or fear.

But simple is almost always tricky, no?

Still, I dunno about you, but that sounds pretty damn peaceful to me. So, do you have any Drug recommendations?

Also there's no chance of being 'rescued' or found out for atleast many hours the way I'm going to do this. The weight system I'm imagining is solid enough and the bathtub should hold enough water to do the job. Also, If I succeed in all my steps, I'm only gonna need the time required to fall asleep (might be half a hour, warm water and music will help relax me, maybe less time needed depending on drug combo and If I don't sleep the entire day before/am exhausted although Miscalculations/sloppiness might arise if I have brain fog) and the few minutes required for brain death once I go under. So all in all? Once in the Tub I don't even need a Hour to call on the Grim reaper.

I also plan to block the doors with chairs and lock them just in case. I don't care what happens afer I'm dead anyways.

Also check out my current thread as this was a test run to understand some functions of this website and thus clearly incomplete. Thank you!

Of 10,708 studies screened, 34 studies were included in the meta-analysis. Based on the suicide acts that resulted in death or hospitalization, firearms were found to be the most lethal method (CFR:89.7%), followed by hanging/suffocation (84.5%), drowning (80.4%), gas poisoning (56.6%), jumping (46.7%), drug/liquid poisoning (8.0%) and cutting (4.0%).

Source:

CFR of 80% seems a bit too good for a "non-method" with questionable reliability.

Ahhh, Finally a Person with the Stats!

So you think I can reasonably make my method work? What are the weak points in your opinion? And I do believe that OTC drugs are strong enough to Knock me out and keep me unconscious while I drown because I have personal experience with them. I don't see much points of failure myself, then again I've barely but left my teens, what do I know?

Please tell me what you think, I appreciate everyone's viewpoint.
