I've come to the realization that drowning is my best option, or the most realistic. I plan on inhaling deodorant spray and jumping into the water at my national coast.

The problem is the timing tho. If I go during the day, people can spot me easily. I don't know if it's easy to save someone but I don't wanna risk it, nor do I want to traumatize others and make a scene. People usually chill at the coastline.

At night it would be super hard to spot me. My plan would be to order an uber to drive me there. But I don't know if it would be suspicious.

I could technically drive myself, but I did that once and it was the worst experience ever. My anxiety was through the roof and I had to get my ass back home. SI is no joke. Especially because I hate dealing with traffic so that added to the nightmare night. I could probably have some drinks to get courage to actually do it. I don't know if the driver might suspect something tho. I could probably set the destinatiom to somewhere close rather than directly, so I'll have to walk a bit. No problem.

I'm sorry for this message, I know this is up to me, but I gave up on life and the methods are equally scary. Speaking out really helps a lot.

Well besides the general wish that I really hope you do not hurt yourself, I'd also urge to not to try drowning yourself. It's an unbelievably painful and terrifying option. I think it's probably because drowning is such an ancient issue that the human body has a lot of protective measures against it and it is far, far from being peaceful or easy. There is a very high likelihood that, no matter how much you think you have made up your mind, the second you hit that water your body is gonna take over. You will likely panic, potentially struggle to leave the water again and just have a horrible horrible time. I strongly advise against trying to drown yourself, it will not work.

Feel free to message me if you wanna talk man. Your style of thinking seems very similar to mine.

I've been considering something similar, I've been thinking about driving to the coast, watching the sunset one last time, and then drown myself. Like @doggo2355 said, it's one of the harder methods though, and I don't know if I could get past the initial panic.

You can't. Likely literally, can't. Try holding your breath until you pass out. It's kinda like that, but even worse. When you are actually drowning there is zero conscious thought, it's solely your body fighting to survive. That's also the reason why it's not advisable to immediately jump in to try to help a drowning person, cuz it's very possible they cling to you in their panic and drag you both down.

Honestly, I think drowning works just fine, you just need to attach a weight to your body in such a way that you can't struggle free from it. At least 20% of body weight. Yes you will struggle, so it may not be peaceful, and opinions differ on painful or not, but in any case it should be quite reliable.
I don't even think it's any more uncomfortable than SN, which I heard is painful too and probably takes considerably longer than drowning.

I mean yeah sure, that is definitely more possible than just jumping in, but that's still gonna be some really painful and terrifying last minutes. When I was considering CTBing my major problem was that I most definitely don't want to spend my last seconds on this earth in terror.

Where can your thread be found? Your profile is private, so there's nothing showing.

It differs from person to person what feels most terrifying, but it's very hard to avoid entirely. When you're really absolutely sure in your decision and you know what's happening and that it's not going to take long, that should mitigate the terror.

Idk how my threads are private. Here I'll write the title to my complete post: 'I need easy to get Medication that'll let me become unconscious so that I drown without waking up in my Bathtub. Please Help.'

I think the main part is that if you crack the concoction of meds that'll let you painlessly doze through the Drowning long enough that your Brain enters Hypoxia and some kind of weight system keeps your head down under water for a few minutes even if your body thrashes (which I think can be avoided if you complete a checklist of things beforehand) then you're golden. The main issue will be if your head pops back up after achieving Hypoxia you're gonna be left with brain damage or if You get KO'ed thinking your conscious effort to keep your head up is gonna go and you'll drown but then you wake up several hours later basically unmoved because the weights didn't drop then or the system wasn't functioning then that's a problem too. So positioning yourself properly and getting the weights right is of Paramount importance. Only second to The OTC drugs you'll need that'll keep you unconscious.

Man, I wish I could just ask AI for the correct drug combination.

Hard Agree brother.

But fortunately specific over the counter drugs can keep your body and brain unconscious long enough to achieve hypoxia after drowning. You'll never even know it happened, Quite peaceful. Those who die up on Mt. Everest from a Lack of Oxygen feel a warm comforting sensation take over their body as their body gently lulls them to sleep.

Dream CTB method ngl.
