People often ask me how much handstitching to machine is done in my projects, so i figured since my last one was an artistic renditon of AM's ''I was in hell, looking up at heaven, i was machine, you were flesh'' by making myself the sewing machine... this is the only way.
Hate. Hate... HATE.... LET ME TELL YOU, HOW MUCH IVE BECOME TO HATE SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE APROXIMATELY 174 INCHES OF MACHINE STITCHING TO 822.5 HAND SOWN ONES ON THIS 1950'S LEISURE COAT. IF THE WORD HATE WAS EMBROIDED ONE MILLION TIME ON EACH AND EVERY MICRO FIBER OF THREAD ON THIS COAT, IT WOULDNT EQUAL TO ONE, ONE BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANITY, FOR YOU, AT THIS MICRO INSTANT...
Not counting buttonholes and other such unmeasurables, roughly 20% machine, 80% hand lol.
