Suicide should be a last ditch option for those with children as suicide is contagious, especially for those who's parents committed suicide.

I've got two fabulous children. However the thought of them does not override my desire to CTB. My psychologist is trying so hard to make me see them as reason to go on, but I seem able to detach my emotion.
I know I would never put them in the position that they will find my body, but I may put them in the position of growing up with one parent instead of two.

I have children, which what keeps me here. Fortunately, they have a great mom and stepfamily so they would be fine financially if I can finally go, but I still know it would be me deliberately hurting them. Wish so badly I could trade places with someone sick who wants to live. A friend of mine's wife has and lethal illness and it kills me to see her sadness and so wish I could take her place.Similar threads
