Throughout my school I was bullied for being effeminate constantly. It had stopped in between, then it started again at office where I was told while playing badminton that I was playing like girls. Recently a roommate and I had an argument. After which he purposely talked in the feminine tone I talk , to make me feel bad. I used to consider this guy my brother and this is what he did. I am extremely hurt due to this. I am having this sunken heart feeling. I hate myself for being this way.

I'm sorry to hear people have been cruel to you like that. A lot of people fucking suck. No-one should ever be made to feel like they have to hate themselves just for who they are.

I was bullied constantly throughout my entire childhood and adolescence... while it was mostly because I'm autistic, I was partly also picked on for being "effeminate" too.

Your roommate sounds like a jerk. I know it's easier said than done but try to not give him the time of day. If he really wants to see you hurt and miserable, tell him to get fucked. Do not give him the satisfaction of seeing you obliterated. Do not let him farm negative energy from you. Try to keep your mind distracted or focused on something else that isn't going to let your mind spiral into a vortex of negative thinking. I struggle a lot with this myself and I know how difficult it can be. Do you have any creative hobbies? Usually I try to channel my negative energy into creating something if I can and I've found that to be a coping mechanism I like to use.

Also, IMO I think you should try to find ways to accept yourself and embrace your authentic self. It's something I struggled with for a long time but as I became an adult being a feminine guy is something I have mostly embraced about myself. I hope you will be able to find that bit of self-love too!

I hate not being masculine enough. Literally, when I was a kid, I was remembered for being a sentimental kid who couldn't play any sports. Then, in junior year of high school, I was the weakest kid in the class. I was only 5'7" and weighed 138 pounds. Besides that, I had long hair and no body hair, so I looked 14 instead of 16. Now, even at 5'10" and short hair, I'm still the same. I'm very thin because of my poor diet and I don't exercise at all. I still try to be masculine in a nasty way. I always have an angry and serious attitude. I'm kind of rude and pretty direct, and I never usually show how I feel to anyone, not even my old therapist. Honestly, masculine standards are bullshit, especially knowing that all the girls just want a handsome, 6'6", and strong guy. So imagine me, especially knowing that all the girls my age are stupid and only want the handsome millionaire Chad and already

I move from a small village where people correctly assumed i was just some sort of metalhead, to the big city, where it all started going ot shit lol. Here it's not that they dont mind you being queer, it's that you MUST be queer, anyone who stands out shall be gayed.

Granted, im from Québec, it's probably just the whole being french thing that turns us all gay.

I'm so sorry, people always criticize me for my dark skin they said I have dirty brown skin, even tho it's just my skin :((
I wish this world was kinder to us but unfortunately it's only looks for what satisfy them and they search for flaws. It's not our fault, it's how society works.... nobody should go through any of hurtful things about their identity.

Same. Always had this cloud of anxiousness separating me from other people and it's lack of masculinity. I've pretty much failed at everything a man is supposed to do, it's a humiliating existence.
