• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

If anyone got a strange message from me, let me know. I managed to recover my account and unblock everyone, but in doing so, well… I'm struggling to do damage control. My DMs of most of my living friends have been closed and thus, I can't add them back. Their name's changed, which makes this even more difficult.

I had the same thing happen to me on Steam back in 2009. A few friends removed me from their friends list because the hacker tried to sell them all of the games I had and scam them in the process. It was just a lucky thing that I still had the CD key from Orange box that I was able to send to Steam Support to get it back.

In my case, it wasn't quite as hard to undo the damage because the hacker didn't send anyone sick shit in their personal messages. They just tried to make money off of it. I'm glad you got your account back, but trying to get your friends back will be a lot more difficult. I hope you can undo some of the damage because it sucks losing friends like that.

This sort of looks like your friend's account is compromised, not yours? I'm not quite sure, whenever I see these scammers DM me from my friends' accounts I usually wait for them to sort it out.
