Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I don't belong here, nobody wants to be around me because I'm depressed. My old neighbor sold the trailer because she thinks I'm too mentally ill to keep a job. It's all "mental health matters" until someone shows signs of a serious mental illness. It's all "mental health matters" until someone is showing signs of wanting to kill themselves. It's all "mental health matters" until someone displays erratic behavior. It's all "mental health matters" until someone has severe bipolar disorder or BPD.
It's all "mental health matters" until someone is hearing voices or seeing things.

I'm tired.

I agree. The phrase doesn't really mean anything. All they have is talking to someone. Nothing can really fix some situations. I'm sorry you're also alone. Everything is wrong in this world

I do understand the feeling, because unfortunately, I feel like most people still see mental illness as lesser than physical illness, as more banal. That makes it so that, although they might say that they consider mental illness as something as important, as significant as physical illness, if not more they don't seem to truly believe it. Because unfortunately, the way you can see that they don't necessarily actually believe it (or at least they don't seem to have thought through what it means) is the fact that they don't act like it's what they truly think. They don't act like that's what they believe, and that's actually an idea that I've gotten from Jordan Peterson, who has, at least in my opinion, a very good way of seeing what someone believes which is to look at how they act instead of looking at what they say.

Hopefully, with time, people are going to realize that mental illness not only should be considered as significant, but maybe it should be considered more significant than physical illness. Physical illness is just an illness of the flesh, while mental illness, I guess, could be considered an illness of the soul, to the extent that we have souls.
