• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I genuinely don't believe "karma" exists.

And Im pissed because had I believed that growing up, I would have been a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON than what I am now. I would have definitely been more cutthroat towards people who deserve it. Step on the necks of people who fuck me over to get ahead. Not have nearly as much shame as I do over things that aren't even important.

……but that doesnt matter now. I just want to curl up in a ball and die.

I certainly don't believe in karma as a metaphysical concept.

In popular culture, many cases of so-called "instant" karma are just videos of terrible things happening to random people, presented under the pre-supposition that they must have done something to warrant their own misfortune, and therefore it's okay to revel in their suffering.

Absolutely and I can be human enough to admit my dumbass have contributed to that type of foolishness a couple of times before. Im just glad I came to this realization recently rather than much later.😬

There is no divine intervention, just life occurrences…..after all shitty things can happen to "good people" too.🤷🏾‍♂️

Same ,believing karma exists made me passive towards abusers. The thing I learned is that people will stomp on you , then they'll stomp on you harder for being hurt until you're broken then they'll stomp on you even harder for daring to me broken

Not only does karma not exist but they will never have a moment of introspection to realize what they're doing to you. It's a dog eat dog world, either you fight or you die.

Theres no benefit for going out of your way to be a people pleaser, if you end up broken along the way and didn't get the chance to have good people in your entourage, you'll be left to rot by yourself and pissed on. Karma doesn't exist, life is only what you make out of it. The most evil people on the planet could very well live the best lives imaginable stomping on everybody while the most selfless people may be greatly suffering

There's no magical cosmic balance or anything,it's just life. I wish I knew that much earlier

It took me awhile to learn to be human, but better late than never, I suppose.

I don't think there's anything wrong with what you said about taking a firmer stance toward people who don't have your best interests at heart though, either. My personal approach is that when I meet someone, I treat them as well as I possibly can, and after that I'll treat them the way they treat me (within law and reason).
