Wish I'd learned this years ago. As much as I wouldn't admit it irl, I haven't loved anyone in quite some time. People just aren't worth the time, most of the time.I tell myself I love myself enough to put myself out of this misery by committing suicide.

I was just telling a dog I live with that she's the only living thing that I will miss if I go. My grandparents on my dad's side are first, but little Hope (well not so little anymore) is the living, breathing creation that I will miss most. Not my family, not my friends, just this one genuinely unconditionally loving animal with whom I share an unshakable bond.
Yes, the grandparents I speak of are deceased.

Ah I am the same. Just got worse after my gf cheated on me with my bestfriend.
Since then I keep my distance from everyone. I tried to get closer to other people, but I just couldn't do it.
