when this site was down before and i was unable to access it it made me realise how much this place stops my anxiety from spiralling. it might not make my life good again and it might not be able to make me want to live again. but it helps me with the mental torment. it helps me get to my ctb date in a calmer manner and prevents me from doing something rash. i'm so grateful for this website and for all of you that make it happen. and to think some people want SS banned when it helps so many of us. i love you all <3

I thought it was gone for good too, I haven't been on here long but I have grown quickly to rely on this site. even If im not posting. just knowing others are here on the other side of the screen with me makes it bearable sometimes .

Same here. It'd be hard to explain why it's comforting to a normal person but I'm glad people like y'all get it. It is difficult if the site goes down. I hope this community never goes away. Its existence picks up where society fails in many ways.

It's what scares me about webhosting, how your provider can drop you at any time for whatever reason. Luckily SS had a backup(s)

Edit: I did not know there was maintenance recently, this reply is referring to what happened a while ago when the pro lifers got the previous domain shut down

It is a dreadful feeling when something you rely on is suddenly gone. For me it is one of the most painful parts about life, the uncertainty of everything and how things can be taken away. It is true that this website helps people, after all it is good to have somewhere where we can talk openly about ctb without having to hear toxic positivity and platitudes.

honestly thought. I too felt a bit disoriented when it was down. It made me feel alone in my suicidality.
