how to search this website ? Is there just "filter" ?

How can search for - eg "exit bag" or some other search term - "filter" does not seem to allow searching by topic ... ?

Hey!

So I noticed you're a new member and (correct me if I'm wrong, anyone else) I think I had the same problem when I first joined. You have to have made a certain number of posts/threads (not sure the exact number) before you have access to things like messaging people, chat, and I believe the search function, too. If I remember correctly, the search bar only appeared for me once I had written a certain number of comments. So if you interact a little bit, it shouldn't take too long!

But what's the reasoning behind that? Won't it end up encouraging new members to post already asked questions?

I really have no idea, sorry! I'm a fairly new member as well, I lurked for a while and only got those abilities a couple of weeks ago when I started posting. There are a couple of threads with member info and a place to make suggestions but I don't know the reasoning behind it.

ok - so now there is a "search" bar in the top LEFT ( not right) side of the top bar menu - same line as username and the envelope and the bell ...
