How to react with emotes

Guys I'm dumb. How do you react to posts with something other than a thumbs up? And how do you cancel a reply and exit out of the message edit thing?

You're not dumb, I just figured out how to today! If you're on mobile, press and hold on the like button and other emotes should pop up. And on PC just hover your cursor over the like button.

I'm not sure about the other thing as I'm not very tech savvy
