Almost 2 years have gone by since my brother moved out, my sister moved out of the house almost 5 years ago now. And my parent's constantly ignore my cries for help. I've vented to them, and they just don't care and sit on their phones ignoring me, and just smoking on the patio. They don't care about me as much as I feel they should. I can't move out myself cause I'm poor and its just not practical for someone my age to move out. The most fun I have is my dad sometimes on the weekends takes me to the shooting range for an hour or two and I get to shoot a handgun or two. And that's about the only thing I look forward to. I feel constantly alone since my parents are usually at work till 6 anyways. And I sit at home and bed rot. It's killing me. I've recently tried self harming and it sorta helps but then I just go back to being alone and it sucks. I have a ton of video games on my computer but every time I open it up I just sit there staring at my screen with no games to play. I wanted to try some new story games but there's really nothing that's stuck out to me other than a few games. Regardless, are there any coping mechanisms that work for just being alone. I already draw a little but every time I do I realize how bad I am at drawing and just lost all my motivation after like drawing for 15-20 minutes lol. I don't need a completely new hobby. Just something that takes my mind off how alone I am, maybe something that allows me to socialize with people? I've looked up some stuff and just nothing seems interesting except fishing, because where I live fishing is like the only thing to do. I really miss my brother if anything. We rarely hang out now that he has a daughter (and wife) and I always feel like a burden when I hang out with him. I just need something. The boredom along with loneliness of this summer is actual hell. Once school starts back up the stress will be able to take my mind off it for a while. Anyways, any ideas?
