I'm trying to do the partial suspension thing. I can make a jank version of a slip knot but have no idea how to attach it to the bar, especially since there is so little of the scarf left to use after making the knot. I was going to try to attach another scarf but I don't know how to do that easily (I tried a fisherman's knot and completely failed) and I still wouldn't know how to attach it to the bar. Any help?

to attach it to a bar look up a clove hitch, it's a strong knot and won't break, it also doesn't need much length

the slipknot should be perfect for the loop though

use some any hitch knot and a simple noose. Make sure to test the scarf to see if it can hold the weight first.
