Im still wandering that myself, i really hope i won't chicken out again, i already stop once because my first choice would have been really painful.
I think that even if you have a very peaceful method if you didn't make peace with dying, your survival instinct will kick in.

The things I can think of are: picking a method you're comfortable with, and becoming very familiar with it/practicing if relevant.

At the thought of it or your circumstances? I am older and remember many times in my life, feeling like my heart hurt so bad. And when I say that I mean the literal sense I felt pressure and pain on my heart from pains in life. I am in no way trying to persuade you in one way or the other but I will say if you're young and your heart hurts please try to write it out a little longer. There's just something about youth that makes everything so insurmountable yet somehow people get through it not all the time like I said I am not trying to persuade you one way or the other I am here looking for advice and possibilities as well. I wish you all the best and whatever you choose!

I think i understand. I am also wishing my heart wouldn't hurt also and am planning to alliieviate (sp?) that. I know I have to in the next 2 weeks. Wishing the outcome that is best for you and a all burdens lifted!

I know for me I will be sad leaving my almost 20 yr old son but... I am so ready to go I will chug a lug and eat a small piece of dark chocolate and lay down smiling in anticipation of being reunited with my older son. I am 110% ready to go and cannot wait until my chosen day. I will admit I am going to have a hard time waiting for that day. I am so ready to go. If you have any doubts about the decision to go- wait and see if you can make anything better to stay. Not being 110% sure you are ready will give you doubts. If you are not sure of your method research methods until you find one you are sure of. Having doubts about timing or methods will cause you to question. Make sure it truly is what and how you want and I imagine you wouldn't wonder...
