Method How peaceful is bloodletting

I'm in the hospital and they left my IV in. I know i could just unclip it and be done with this, but I'm scared. Ihave had so many traumatic attempts I want this to be peaceful.
This psych ward is killing me. I need some opinions from others, should I wait until I get out and do a more peaceful method or just take this opportunity now?

Do you mean just letting yourself bleed out from your IV? That doesn't sound like a good idea at all to me. First, you're in a hospital and so there is a high likelihood of being found and revived. Second, I expect the bloodletting would be extremely slow.

I have killed farm animals through bloodletting, but this is through slitting their jugulars. I don't think it's peaceful, but it takes them about 5-10 seconds to lose consciousness and so I feel good they only suffered briefly. Not sure if this is helpful.

It would take ages, allowing time for you to be found, and the iv will be in a smallish vein so the blood will clot when your blood pressure drops. It won't work.

I'm sorry to be blunt but there is no way that will work, it takes ages to bleed out and you're in a hospital. There's no point even considering it.

Thanks so much for your answers y'all. I appreciate the second opinions!!! This would indeed be a shitty way to die, so thanks so much for helping me not traumatize myself instead of actually dying.
