How much pain should you incure when killing yourself with partial suspension hanging

I blackwd out recently when I was testing and to be honest I have no recollection of any pain. Some discomfort but not pain

How long should you expect to wait before you black out? When should I consider readjusting a bit

Is full suspension a better option?

There shouldnt be any pain while hanging if done correctly.

As for the time before blacking out no one truly knows for sure. All we know is that it happends during the first stage of hanging so when u experience the discomfort as ears ringing, flashing lights in front of the eyes etc. It should be relativly quick.

Full suspension is always going to be better. There are less things to fail other than your anchor or the rope itself, if u checked beforehand this shouldnt happend. The pressure on your neck is also way bigger so u dont have to worry about not blocking every artery and suffocating yourself.

Unfortunately, my attempts at partial hanging weren't successful... and while it wasn't painful, the feeling of gagging and having a head ready to explode were deal-breakers and resulted in an abort. Clearly, I messed up something.

I had zero pain. I do not know how long it took me to pass out but not long once I got it. My method was to lean forward a bit and if I could not breathe or started feeling pressure in my head, I would straighten up and adjust my rope, padding, or position, and try again. In other words, I did not go full send until I knew I had it right.

I felt no pain, but it was really easy to panic and stand up once you could feel yourself passing out. Like another reply said, full suspensions are probably easier. I tried it once, but I didn't test the strength of the tie and ended up falling a few seconds after I passed out based on the time. I only felt a little uncomfortable with the pressure and a little bit of carpet burn from the scarf tightening around my neck.
