While it does seem that Nembutal can be taken orally with the vet injectable, the pass through the liver deactivates the amount of injectable drugs, so if you have a 6.3gram 100ml bottle, you won't be getting 6.3 grams into your system. Usually that's why they make pill forms of drugs, they add a substance to make it survive the liver pass(17A alkylated). Many(if not most) injectables won't do anything if you drank them, so my question is how much Nembutal survives the first pass through the liver into the bloodstream? Lethal dose says 10 grams but if you drink ten grams, you might not be getting 10 grams after it passes the liver. How much do you actually have to drink to get the lethal dose?

While I don't have exact information on this, it's important to remember that the liver takes a while to process chemicals and these type of drugs are absorbed directly into the bloodstream from your small intestine. N, in such high doses, takes 5 to 20 minutes to put you to sleep and 2 to 12 hours to finish you off.

This is an overdose taken with the intent to die, so any chemical that they may add to make drugs pass through the liver is completely irrelevant in this case. It will be overwhelmed anyway, and the half-life of this drug is of about 15-50 hours.

And I'm sure that they already took this into account when describing the recommended dose on the pph.

people can take 1 bottle of liquid N and die, thats only 6.5g is enough to kill the average person. I imagine that information wouldn't be in the PPH if it wasn't correct. they don't have any motive to providing false information they are 'for' assisted suicide, not against it!

here are two pages on how it takes effect and what a lethal dose is
