How much alcohol to properly ease pain?

After a lot of research, I've decided on carbon monoxide poisoning as my method. The only problem is making sure I don't feel pain. My dad usually keeps a couple 12 packs of bud lite in the fridge, and I was wondering how many cans would properly ease the pain? Any pills I should use? Preferably over the counter

It depends on your tolerance, and finding a sweet spot so that you don't consume too much and hinder your ability to CTB

i say this with kindness, but if you are too young to buy alcohol for yourself, you don't know your own alcohol tolerance, and you would need to drink your dad's beer--you are too young to be on this website! the website rules do not allow teenagers. part of why the site is blocked in multiple countries is because minors used this site for information on ctb, their parents took legal action, and the courts sided with them.

please, please seek out other options before trying to ctb. at the very least, get to an age where you can move out and live with roommates before deciding on anything. at least give yourself a chance at adult life and freedom.

anyone over 18 is allowed here and some countries have higher age limits for buying alcohol lmao wtf are you talking about

my bad, i shouldn't have assumed. in my area nearly everyone has had alcohol by the age of 18 and left home by that time.

everyone's tolerance is different, so it's difficult to give an estimation for much beer you'd need. i have friends who can drink literally twice as much as i can before feeling drunk, and i have friends who can only drink half as much as i can before feeling drunk. my guess is that the pain threshold differs between people as well. unfortunately the only way to figure out your own tolerance is through personal experience.

FYI this site is for adults, which means 18 years old. In the US, the drinking age is 21. That means there can be a bunch of people that are allowed to be on this site but are not allowed to purchase and consume alcohol in the U.S. for three years.

you're right, as i said earlier i was wrong for assuming. i am in the us and everyone i know started drinking at ages 16-18 and left home. in my area, fake ids and liquor stores that look the other way are easy to come by, and most 18 year olds in my area know someone 21+ who's willing to buy for them. as i said in my previous comment, i was wrong for making assumptions, and i gave advice for OPs original question once they said they were not a minor. since major news organizations and governments have used minors as a "gotcha" to try to take the site down, i was just trying to be responsible before giving advice on how to carry out ctb, especially since the account was new. i will be more mindful in the future and not make assumptions

Ehh I don't think you were wrong for worrying I'm a minor, there are a lot of minors on this site, and a lot of European people on this site. I find it messed up that in the megathread for suicide by firearm there's a section talking about what to do if you want to shoot yourself but are a minor
