I wanted to see how many people here suffer from bpd.

Not diagnosed but I'm suspecting it if not really mild OCD (family history). My medications are a mix of antidepressants + mood stabilizers— some of which are also used to treat BPD— so, if I did have it, it'd be at least subdued right now.

I have bpd and believe me its a cause of my sabotaging my whole life. The emotions that rule me and dictate what I do...the identity changes...its pure hell

I know a guy who takes meds for it that "lobotomises" him and he went from being chronically angry and randomly trying to kill himself with no warning to normal 90% of the time and sometimes having off days, its so much better, he used to block me basically once a week and couldnt talk to me for more than a minute by the end without those meds

Almost 50 50 so far wow. I've been diagnosed for years now. I was surprised at first to see so many people with BPD here. It's terrible how it drives so many people to ctb

I was diagnosed with it in 2021 however I think I was given that label far too easily by a lazy doctor. I think my symptoms align better with another diagnosis which makes more sense given my history

My therapist has helped me learn about bpd and npd. I have traits of both. But she says since I can see it and feel regret, in both cases not a personality disorder. Im guessing a different therapist could disagree and diagnose me with one or both. Regardless it helped ruin my life. It I voted no since not diagnosed.

Bipolar but borderline is the worst for me
