Impressive...When I was a teenager I used to "practice" everyday and I remember that my record was 2 minutes and 21 seconds. I felt like a boss because the first times I could only hold my breath for 20 seconds lol.

That is the key training (practicing ) every day. And this is true for many other things but definitely for breathholding.I think holding your breath is just like lifting weights: every time you can do it better as long as you train everyday.
However, the sad part, is that I've lost that ability. I just tried to hold my breath and I only lasted 30 seconds LOL
