Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Let's say I've been to the hospital, once involuntary and once voluntary. (I checked my social on a few background check websites and they said I was clear but those seem faulty) and have a clean record with nothing else against me. (Also the hospital I went to was frankly terrible in the staff department and I'm not really sure if they even bothered filing my paperwork)

How hard would it be to obtain a shotgun? Preferably one on the shorter end so it would be easier to hold it to my temple, but a longer one would work too. I would buy one in person, but I'm too scared to go into a store.

It depends on where you're from.
Here in Argentina, it's quite difficult.
I've thought of going to the slums so as to get one but I will probably just be robbed, hurt and they might even kill me (well, that's the point right? lol) and sell my organs in the black market.

Damn, I'm in America, the holy grail for ctb as of right now and even then still it feels hard. They say you go to the hospital once and it'll keep you from getting one ever. I'm really hoping they didn't file the paperwork.

And definitely be careful if you plan to go somewhere dangerous. Bring something for protection, if anyone kills you it should at least be yourself

Best of luck to you, good wishes and good vibes

Even in the us it depends on what state you're in. In my state I was in and out of the store in 30 minutes with a handgun. In other states you wouldn't be able to impulse buy like that, they have mandatory waiting periods and licensing requirements.

In the US purchasing a weapon after being involuntarily hospitalized will depend on the state. Each state has its own set of background checks. Some states have instituted Red Laws which allow a family member or doctor to inform the law that they feel you are threat to yourself or others. A few states do not do background checks at all, do not require registering any guns and no permit is needed to carry a concealed weapon.
You are going to need to look at the gun laws in your state and possibly city. Some cities have gun laws the exceed the state laws.

It's funny I've always been anti guns, especially mass ownership by the public but how I wish i could buy a shotgun in my country to cbt. Such a straightforward equation to blow my own head off, and I think I would feel so free knowing I had that option if things get too bad. As it is I'm stuck with the usual suspects of method options that seem so much less black and white in effectivness ..I'm just waffling trying to forget tomorrows work stress and not really adding anything to the chat I fear

If you don't mind me asking which state are you in? I'm in TN right now and I'm not sure what the policy is
