• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hi y'all, I probably have a very familiar story for other trans people on here, but I have dysphoria so bad that when I look in the mirror I just get this huge wave of dread come over me. And it's not just that of course, it's just existing in this shell I don't feel comfortable in, it's going out in clothes I hate, it's talking and interacting in a way I hate... I don't know, on my good days it's bad enough to stop me in my tracks, and on my bad days it's bad enough to make me terribly suicidal.

The waiting list for specialized trans support is about 3 years where I live, and I just can't imagine that I can make it that long... What do you my fellow trans people on here do to get through the days just a little better?

there isn't really a way around it; if you need hrt, acquire it by whatever means necessary. which is to say, do diy. I was going to recommend hrt.cafe, but it looks like it's been shut down since I got my supply. here is an archived version of it. I don't know if the vendors list is up to date, but there's lots of info on diy hrt sourcing and dosing out there. I waited until I was 18 to start diy, and I deeply regret not starting as soon as I knew it was what I wanted.
besides that, if you're mtf you could work on voice training. it takes a lot of time and effort, so the sooner you begin the better. if it's safe for you to do so, get clothes that you like. I think it also helps to make trans friends. personally, I'm generally way more comfortable with people who understand what it's like, and talking about dysphoria with others who have it makes it feel less isolating.
