I started take meds awhile ago mainly because I was pushed into therapy and to keep up the facade of getting better I need to pretend to take the meds.
My parents live with me and I can avoid actually taking them. However, I don't know how I would explain the changes or 'improvements' as if I actually were taking the meds.
I'm supposed to be taking fluoxetine if anyone has experience with that?

Fluoxetine (and all the other antidepressants…) didn't do jack shit for me, and for many other people. They're not going to suspect anything if you're vague or unsure of the changes.

If you wanted to be realistic though, you could tell the doctor about how you're feeling sleepy all day or are unusually emotionally numb. Those two symptoms are very typical of Fluoxetine.

Fluoxetine actually made my depression and suicidal feelings worse. It might help others, but not everyone
