I see no one replied to your very legitimate post. I understand completely your reservations and have absolutely no idea how to even use Bitcoin at all, even after reading about it extensively. It just isn't something I understand, if I can't understand it, I can't be comfortable with it. It's completely Greek to me.

There is a holding period. I believe the funds are available now. But i haven't looked into it further. Thanks.

Go sign up for a crypto wallet like coinbase. Some are free some are not. "Free crypto wallet" google search should get you the info. Once you have it set up you attach a funding source like a cc. Then you go to whatever exchange you choose and buy your bitcoin. Get a little extra as some goes to transaction fees. (Just like an atm) i have no idea what they are now as they fluctuate. Once the coin appears in your wallet you can send it to D with his wallet number.

Thats an over simplified explanation and the process will take an hour or 2 to get setup correctly.
If you want to hide your cc info, a site like privacy dot com will allow you to create one time use cards.
