I have been in the psych ward during 4 days because I told my doctor about my plan to commit suicide. It has been really tough, becuse I still really want to commit suicide. I need to get out of here as fast as possible. Do you guys have any advice on this? Just so you know I am not asking for any advice about doing something illegal.

pretend like you got better to the psychiatrists, smile, go to the group activities and make them feel like they're helping you. deny being suicidal or depressed. act like you're not at risk of harming yourself and plan to better yourself when you get discharged.

Just say you aren't suicidal anymore. Tell them to meds they put you on are working. I would also attend their dumb little groups, which I didn't do and I think it made my stay longer.Similar threads
