How do I get admitted to the live chat?

I've been a member for several months. I read on here that there's a live chat but you have to meet certain criteria. They are secretive about it, and I understand why. But I also emailed admin and haven't heard back.

I just feel like I'd really benefit in a live chat situation. I've been struggling really hard for a long time. I thought coming here would be helpful for me, and it definitely has. It's freeing to be able to talk to like minded people. But I'd still like to do it in a chat setting. I'm not sure what needs to be done. And maybe you're not allowed to tell

Yeah, I've found it difficult to engage in this platform. I'm not used to it. But I'm on here every night.

And I've never been one to make posts. That's just not who I am. But talking to people in real time is much more appealing.

I appreciate that. I snapped too fast. I shouldn't had said that. Like I said, I'm new, I haven't communicated a lot on here but I do read a lot. I'm still trying to figure out all the acronyms. I've got a lot down. But not all.

Until the search ability is enabled for you, it is recommended that you try multiple search engines without filters to do research on specific questions.

I am like you and tend to observe more than participate. I've been posting a lot more lately and it's been nice to share and sometimes feel seen. I've found some of your posts on here helpful so far :)

If it helps, you can see that I just became a member recently. The search opened up for me at some point, and I now have the live chat too. I think just keep participating :)
