I barely remember hearing about it some time ago but only decided to make an account recently because i was searching for the best CTB methods on Yandex and this was one of the first results (i use Yandex for this because Google gives practically no results)

I found it because of that article interviewing some journalists who wrote about this site, I believe it was an NPR article (but I don't actually remember now). They actually straight up name the site in the interview/article, so I was able to easily find it from that. Found the article when looking into methods.

I was googling methods, did not get anywhere really. Then thought there must be people like me looking for the same thing so I googled online suicide pacts and somehow found a mention of this site. It was a very happy moment when I discovered the forum and my registration was accepted.

There i came across this site (i had to use yandex ofc google won't show it) and then i started to lurk here alot bcz i found threads pretty relatable here. Now i ended up making an account her few days ago.

Hi, I am curious how you people actually find out about this site. It doesn't really show up on the main search engines and obviously isn't widely advertised, so I'm just curious. I had someone already knowing about it telling me it exists.

i was on the dark web on some obscure search engine that changes it's link every few days for some reason and i stumbled upon the onion version of this site. I thought for a good amount of time it was an onion only site and was amazed at how many dark web users were online only to realise it also had a surface web version lol.

Ive been feeling tbia way for many many years... i burnt all my aocial media sites ..well twittwr and FB.. and did find that i did need an outlet a place to vent and discuss and talk ... i stumbled upon tbis place ( thankyou news outlet ).. and instantly found support and group of peiple who dont dont judge and acknowledged my reasons and why im here .. i can talk with out fear ..

so a random guy openned a topic about suicide, most of users told him not to do it and the expected phrases (life is beautiful, there is always something to fight for and blah blah)

but I rememer someone saying that he will commit ctb in the future when their parents pass away and that he had a perfect method that wont fail

he didnt say the name but another user quoted him asking a bit more info about what he was saying

and then he replied with the words "SS" and "SN"

that catched my attention and I started diging

got to say I inserted both worlds in google and not the results i expected so now i dont really know I end up finding the forum, but that was the beginning of my searching

Watched the 'poisoned' doc on tv but didn't really grasp what it was about (i say watched, i fell asleep halfway through the first episode). Went to therapy the next day and my therapist asked if i ever used websites like this one, i said no but it rang a bell in my head that i should continue watching the doc (and pay attention). Don't recall them naming the site but it's not hard to find when given all the other details the program gives. They even told me it's blocked here so i'd need a vpn to be able to make it here how kind of them

They must be SO salty at the situation they created! "OH LOOK HERE'S A WEBSITE FOR PEOPLE WHO WANNA DIE", and when all the people who wanted to die go there, they act surprised, and wanna shut down the whole thing.

It's funny and sad at the same time.
