• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Finally ready to attempt. Its been quite awhile since I've been at this place. It feels very different though.

Calmer in weird ways. Less so in others.

Im curious to hear from folks that have attempted or are getting ready to attempt.

How did you know it was/ is finally time?.

What kinda things do you want to do in your final days?

what do you think is important to try before "throwing in the towel" so to speak? Before really giving up?

I just like to read & hear dif points of view and such. So posting.

When the thought of death became more comfortable than thought of living.

I've learnt that there are methods I don't want to do, that I frustratingly cannot do, and have done but didn't work.

So I live in this weird space of wanting to die but having to live...

I read a little while back that people commit suicide when they see no other way out. It was supposed to be "you can make them realize there are other options" but then I started rationalizing away the other options, that there is truly nothing I'd rather do then die, and that kinda solidified my decision. I think if you want to try talking to a friend or therapist or someone online, maybe in the recovery forums here, about your reasons and they were willing to provide a list of options which you may rather prefer doing before "throwing in the towel," it could help.

As for me, in my final days, I think I finally just want to get some peace and rest. Watch TV and bide my time, establish a will, and then pass away while watching TV to distract myself from my preferred method.

My attempt a few years ago was impulsive, and I'm still impulsive when I hurt myself with a razor blade
