I'm sorry. Your feelings are understandable. I am the type of person who gets easily upset and is very sensitive so if someone said something negative to me, it would make me feel a lot worse. People are disappointing in general. I wish you well.

Same here, I tried contributing in a meaningful way, but just got bashed on. So now I mainly keep quiet.
It's what the internet has become, I guess... a place for commerce, porn and insulting people. I haven't had a "nice" conversation on the net in years. Seems like people just use it as a place to hurt other people under the veil of anonymity. And you either don't care what other people say, in which case why participate at all, or it discourages you from ever participating again, which just makes you even lonelier than you were before.

It really sucks that you guys feel that way in SS. This is supposed to be a safe space for all of us where we can all be honest but respectful. I'm really sorry that you guys have had people react to your opinions negatively and if you need someone to just express opinions to or just to vent to then I'm here for the next 12 hours. <3

Sorry this happened to you. I've had it happen to me also. It usually doesn't bother me. If it's someone I respect here then maybe it would. I'm not saying I don't respect people here but there are so many members it's impossible to know everyone.
Honestly this site has some of the kindest people anywhere. Kinda sad that suicidal people are the "nice" one's on the internet.
I wanted to add that if it weren't for people here, I may have CTB long ago.

I would try to let it go if possible. People are in bad places here and it can show. That's absolutely no excuse at all, but hurt people hurt people, I suppose.

im very sensitive to criticism so i understand. its especially hurtful coming from people on here because we're all suffering, and anyone commenting here would know that. dont let it get to you though, everyone on here is in pain and some people deal with pain by lashing out. im sorry that happened to you and im sure it wasnt your fault.
