Homelessness Rant...


When I am homeless
People are blaming me
calling me stupid
and telling me they are worried about me
without offering me a bed for the night, a sofa or even a garden
They are letting me buy them dinner
While not offering me a sofa.

My passport has been stolen
they blame me
but this is common for homeless people
My laptop has been stolen
They are blaming me

Every where I stay falls through
so every time I get it sorted
then the 'friend' whose sofa I am on
asks for more money
Or calls me names
and I'm homeless so what can I do

One old dude threatened me with rape
so I left in the middle of the night
He had a voice like Leonard Cohen

Then this old friend (ten or twenty years)
ate all my biscuits and got annoyed I ate all his oranges
though I was going to replace them
then told me he hated me
I have known him twenty years
and often cooked for him
and always replaced food and loo roll
Just wide eyed and homeless and tired
My generosity is neither seen nor appreciated
and everyone gets to be mean to me.

so now I'm in a hotel
Where next?

Those people are scum. It says a lot about them that they'd hang you out to dry.

There were five oranges from maybe Valencia. He turns the heating on and leaves it on all night
I was sleeping on his sofa
Woke up feeling like I was being roasted
so ate oranges
I usually buy them a bowl of fruit when I stay
I didn't ask about the oranges as I was intending to replace them
and I offered money for fruit

but he was so rude. I have now blocked him on Facebook
And think Good riddance to him.

why are people being rude to me
when I'm homeless and
have been robbed
They can fuck off
I'm going to keep working on my project.

ps he ate all my biscuits. They were Ajwain ones. I didn't like them that much anyway. But he didn't know that!

I'm currently homeless as well staying with my aunt sleeping on her floor been homeless multiple times in my childhood .I don't have a dollar to my name no a state Id nothing . I get blamed for my situation as well most of my family lives of government assistance so they can't really help me all they is I'm 20 and I'm to young to be depressed which it's way deeper than just being just depressed can't find a job in and out of the court system just sucks but it is what it is.

Have you contacted your local church? They are typically well connected to shelters and have food. When I was homeless, my local church helped a lot. Even had a police escort to the shelter that's how broke I was.

Some of my best times were homeless, although I had saved some resources throughout. Biking from town to town, state to state, the world was so open and free. Sleep where you can, work where you can, adventure where you can.

I hate hearing these stories. It shouldn't happen like this.

I am in the UK not USA. But I am so pissed off that even when you tell the truth about homelessness
peopel blame you for it.

I just don't want to speak to those people anymore

It is nothing to be ashamed of and not our fault.

sounds more like a nomad than homeless. Anyway, homelessness should not be something people have to deal with.

People just don't give a damn unless it benefits them . They feel like they can stomp all over you because they have a home, money and so on. They think that makes them better than you. I hate people like that. I know how you feel, I was homeless too. You really find out who your friends are and trust me there will be very few. It was so hurtful how people treat one another. This is why most of the time I am alone. I'm so glad I have you guys to talk to. Thank you for being there.

That's basically how people is, it's not the homeless.

Sometimes I would like to take the backpack and just travel and disappear, unfortunately I am not in good health but it must be an adventure.
