help me fake a suicide attempt

i need to get my parents attention so they know im struggling with my mental health. i don't have sn or anything. i dont want to go yet, i wanted to talk to a psychiatrist. any ideas how to make this work?

You said you wanted to talk with a psychiatrist. Do you go to any academic institutions? <3 (School, college, et cetera.) If so, they can help connect you with a psych, independent of your parents <3.

Just tell them the truth. How badly you wanna die. Tell them about this forum and that you are already aware of SN. If I was a parent that alone would shock me and make me act.

May I ask how old you are. If you are a minor, you really shouldn't be here. Also, if you never even tried psychiatric intervention/therapy then don't make a suicide attempt. I am begging you.

And also don't attempt suicide as a shock gesture especially with SN. There are cases where even test amounts lead to involuntary death. Do not do it!
And if you are not a minor, you do not need your parents approval to contact mental health services.

i don't even understand the point in genuinely trying it. literally lie. "i tried to kill myself" or do something ridiculously obvious. Ask for a rope, ask them the next time they'll be out, hang a noose and rub red eyeshadow over ur neck and lay on the floor or something. Literally lie. Make ts Disney Channel. when they ask you why you need a rope, look down at the floor and rub the side of ur arm and go "U-u-ummm it's nothing, just… yea i school, um, science computer project…." they'll get the idea. i'd tell you to just tell them straight up but it's obvious you don't feel comfortable in that way with them so it's kinda like telling a homeless person to buy a house lololol

if you have medical insurance and have medical care available to you, you can see a general practitioner and tell them you need help regarding mental health and they can assist in setting you up with a psychiatrist or therapist. if more urgent then ER and you can get an psych consult.

I don't know where you live. In some countries you can visit therapists/psychiatrists without the need of approval from your parents. For example if Germany you need to be 15 and your parents don't even get notified or anything. Even if you're below that age asking one won't hurt.
