I've been away for something like 5 months. Life took some turns that made me socially isolate. I suppose for a short time I got "better", but in reality I just lost the impulse desire to CTB since I came to a place I accepted leaving soon is not an option. My kids need me too much, and without me they would only have the one person that helped me get into a suicidal mindset in the first place.

I still see a few of you that I knew. I'm both happy to see you're still here, and sad to see you're still here and suffering. I'm even more sad to see how many names I considered friends are now crossed out. I hope they found peace.

you're all still such a beautiful group. Im glad this site continues to be a place of knowledge and sanctuary. Im sure I'll continue to come and go since I have a good decade before I can leave this world

Welcome back I tend to come and go as well depending on how I'm feeling. It's nice to know it's a place that's always there though. Gives some comfort. But while it's nice to see you come back, it's also sad that life has brought you back here.

I share similar sentiments as well, this is a place where I feel at peace, away from the shitty reality that I'm in day to day. Can anyone tell me what happened to jean? Did she succumb to her health conditions or CTB. She was always very nice to me. I don't see a goodbye post. I imagine the closing of Stans thread upset her as well. Just looking for a bit Of closure, as seeing her name crossed out made me sad.

The final straw was that she gave incorrect statistics and information about the coronavirus whilst claiming to be a medical expert who sits on the board for NY's COVID-19 response team. The thread got heated as she was being called out by several members, and was subsequently deleted.

There's a short discussion about Jean4 over the next couple of pages here. Other than that we are not allowed to discuss anything else about her.
