We never asked to be born! We can't pick and choose our biological parents and family! We can't pick and choose our genetics! We can't pick our race, skin color, or gender! We can't pick our nationality! We can't pick our looks! We can't pick our height! We can't pick what year or time period to be born in! We can't pick what town, city, state, or country we were born in! We can't pick how much wealth you are born into! We don't have a choice at all! It's not fair!

People who are poor, dumb, stupid, and ugly should NOT have children! All they're doing is making and creating more poor, dumb, stupid, and ugly people! This world is overpopulated! We have more than enough people on this planet! We don't need any more! Most people are NOT fit, ready, qualified, or capable of being parents! Most people have children for very stupid and selfish reasons! They don't know what they are doing! Most people have children just so they can fit in with society! Problems like climate change, which worsen with increasing amounts of people (yes, some polluters pollute a lot more) and yep, the sheer amount of suffering really needs to change, the regular living and joys can stay, but idk why there is that much suffering around.

True, I didn't remember signing a consent to existence form. It would be cool if one can pick one's genetics, tho the software that does it better prevent serious errors such as duplicate chromosomes, lack of anti-cancer genes, and other criticalities.

Poverty, Stupidity and dumbness can be mostly treated, also poverty is not always something one is born into, medical debt for example can trigger it.

However, humans who are abusive, hateful, and neglectful absolutely shouldn't be able to bring life into the world, ideally some biological disorder will make it impossible for them to do so, and a dose of random suffering removed from the innocent people, should find its way towards hateful and abusive people, just enough to make them change their ways and learn why it is not ok to be that bad. (combined with insight to change ones ways). The neglectful should also learn what it is like to be neglected for a short while and given insight to improve.

I wonder what happens when genetic signing (fictional concept) is enabled globally... and it isn't supported properly... no new life can be created because the signatures can't decrypt.

For most people, this is all they can or will contribute to the world. Just more of themselves. And they see that as an achievement. They see it as an accomplishment. Having kids. Not even raising them right or giving that child a legitimate chance at having a halfway comfortable or manageable life. Just simply getting them into this shitshow called 'life.' I don't see much of a problem having children if one is prepared to take care of and raise that child correctly. If they have a lot of money, enough resources to ensure that the child will have every possible advantage that they can offer them. If they're part of a halfway functional community that will care enough about that child to take care of them. And, most importantly, if they intend to love and guide that child correctly. Save for that, no one should have children.

This world is too rigged against so-called 'average' people to have children. There's just too much working against a child. The old proverb is true, it DOES take a village to raise a child. And yet, you have people who can barely afford their basic necessities just mindlessly having them. No thought into the life of the child at all. I really wish my parents would've just walked by each other, or at the very least my father would've just pulled out. I guess people are just conditioned to reproduce in order to keep broken human life going. Humans don't even do anything to make the world better for their future generations. They just serve and satisfy their sexual impulses and leave another human life strictly in the hands of chance. That, in and of itself, negates the idea that humans are above any other animal.

You can't have one without the other. There has to be a balance, without bad, people wouldn't have morals, no concept of right or wrong because only one could exist which means there's no free will, just complete subservience, like robots you'd just be following a script.

The same goes with the bad, if everything was bad then the world would be in a perpetual state of complete chaos, war, greed, poverty and suffering, except it would be everybody everywhere suffering, constantly, forever.

The balance has to exist for "life" to exist, it doesn't end at humans.

Life is a concept and nobody understands it .
I can't wait to be done with it..if reincarnation is a thing I just hope that we can opt out.

Because that's not how everyone feels? Some people genuinely like being in this world and sure, there are up and downs and struggles, but some feel enjoyment? Some like their jobs? Some are a part of a community. I felt it once. I lived it for a while. I saw people living it. And then everything started to fall apart.

I always wondered how people could say these things. How "being alive" is a curse and how egoistic it is to "bring someone into this life". I was scared of dying, I was very sensitive and empathetic and never wanted to die. Only saw the good in everything.

If I hadn't spiralled into a dark severe depression, I would still feel that way. Now everything changed and I cannot recognise myself. I cannot take care of myself. I have suicidal thoughts daily. I feel helpless with this condition. And cannot stop thinking about stupid mistakes I made.

So given, this mental illness is likely genetic, I don't want my kids to go through sth like that. What guarantees I'd be a good mum in the long run.

Its to much of a gamble. Even if you raise them good they can still get mental illness and chronic illness. I know its a biological instinct for a lot of people (not something I have felt personally). Not to mention they will grow up to be wage slaves or could end up disabled. I wish more people would think of these risks beforehand. I asked my mom why she had me and she said cause it made her happy and most people are happy. It made me sad that Im wired different to not understand why people think life is good enough to bring kids here
