• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Religious?
Yes, some are religious. Others just think suicide is wrong and fill your head with the idea that, "it's only temporary, it'll get better, you'll see!". I was told this all through my teens, then my twenties, and even now in my late thirties.

Edit: My Aunt who is VERY religious (a born again), thinks I'm already destined for hell, and when I do die by my own hand...she'll really think I'm in hell.

Most people in the Midwest where I live are prolifers. Religious-pilled and terrified of going to hell

Isn't almost everyone outside the SS community 'pro-life' in the sense that suicidal feelings are widely believed to be 'temporary' and 'treatable'? I have yet to meet people in real life (even atheists and very supposedly 'forward thinking' people) who genuinely believe that a young or middle-aged adult with no pre-existing physical health issues should have the right to die. Maybe this is just my life, but I live in a 'progressive' bubble where bodily autonomy is valued/recognized in almost every other situation.

Oh yes. They are insufferable. Most if not all are either religious or say things to hide their guilt.

I do not really meet people, but I know of people who enjoy living who would very likely be pro life if they were asked for their opinion on a suicide related subject. Those who are not suicidal themselves will never be able to understand. I also think that many non suicidal people are against euthanasia as they selfishly would not want their family members to die, so they see it as being wrong for everyone. I think that I am glad that I am not around people much. People can be very frustrating and I cannot stand anything pro life.
