has anyone here travelled to a country with sanctioned suicide and done it there?

obviously not someone who posted about it afterwards.
but someone who posted about going there and then never posted again?
and can any foreigner just go to these countries and do it?
i know if it's within europe, then it's probably much easier for a fellow european to travel there, rather than an american for example.
but that's still just guess work

I'm made to understand that you need medical approval of some kind and that the wait can be very very long. It's not something I have looked into though, I just assumed you would need to be a citizen or permanent resident in whatever location?

lol medical approval? i dont get it. wouldn't that involve telling a doctor about suicidal tendencies?
they will look at you like WTF and send you straight to the nut house instead and ruin your life ten times worse than before.
i know that's obviously not your fault, you're just the messenger.

This is different. You need to get doctor's approval for the medically assisted suicide itself. They need to make sure that you're actually suffering from real issues that validate the taking of your life.

The doctors involved in this process won't have you institutionalized.
