• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

1)For eg more the hunger(suffering),more the pleasure in eating food.

Similarly,drinking,smoking,drugs?Why do humans drink,smoke,do drugs?
It is like creating pointless desires and trying to meet them.

See,if you were told to create a pleasure point (let's say)on your hand, pressing which would give you pleasure, would you create that pleasure point?
See,how pointless and unnecessary , it would be to create that pleasure point?
same with drinking,smoking.

You seem to be conflating pleasure with happiness.

"We humans are all the same, every last one of us. For some it's drink, some it's women, some even religion, family, the king, dreams, children, power, all of us had to spend our lives drunk on something, else we'd have no cause to keep pushing on.

Everyone was a slave to something."

We feel relief when we satisfy a bodily need. The difference with drugs is that they cheat the nervous system, but of course there is a price to pay for that.
Happiness is just a more sophisticated form of relief, a rhetoric of the mind that invents a narrative that when you achieve a certain goal in life you will find satisfaction. For me, it's like the carrot in front of the donkey.
Of course, the good feeling is real, but soon it fades and we go in search of other things.
