how do I know where to exactly tighten the rope? I have searched for my carotid artery and tried to choke myself with my hand just to see if I would pass out, but I don't seem to really even get lightheaded.
how do I find the right spot??

While doing full suspension hanging you should just tie the rope using "noose knot" method and place knot behind your neck. It's enough to put a pressure on carotid arteries quickly
