Grinding chloroquine tablets in a smoothie blender

I saw that people grind coffee beans in a blender if they don't have a coffee grinder. Can I grind them in a smoothie blender? Pill crushers in my country are not useful and can only crush 2 pills at once. My idea is grinding my pills in my blender and make sure that the pills are near the blades and shake it sometimes to make it very fine.
