I'm recovering from some injuries and I can't do any of my "hobbies". Anybody got a good COMPLETED show suggestions I can bittorrent to keep me entertained until October 19th? I'd kill myself now but I still gotta early vote.

I like Supernatural, youtube nature documentaries or S.W.A.T or old fashioned C.S.I.
But I guess it depends on what you like?
Hope you recover from the injuries fast

I don't know if you will like it or not but I love adventure time, it has also a meaning to me because I made a friend on here and he loved adventure time
when he killed himself I was really upset about it and started watching it because it made me feel somehow connected to him

I'd forgotten about those old CSI shows and their ridiculous crime reenactments. Top tier comedy. I really enjoy blood and violence in my shows because I find it hilarious. Attack on Titan was a real laugh riot!

You know what I did download that show a few weeks ago. I have fond memories of watching that show whilst doing butt stuff with my then partner. The lemon person was fun. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!
I've you want to get hooked to some classic tv show, you should dev see Prison Break
Also : Game Of Throne (i wasn't into sci-fi at all but liked it) , Breaking bad (excellent but let action-oriented than the others).
I Highly recommend Columbo with Peter Falk but it may be personal, i never get tired of it
In Anime, not an expert as i don't actually see much of them, i actually recommend you to see "Welcome to the NHK" which is excellent (its a drama, talking about isolation, depression, suicide, though the moral is actually hopeful). This is my favorite anime
Oh man, I don't really got anything fun to recommend. :(
The first thing I thought of when you said "Sci-fi and lots of violence" was the movie Galaxy Terror (1981). But that movie is extremely graphic, and has a very infamous scene that I'm not sure I feel comfortable recommending watching if you're trying to heal from injuries.
If you like something stupid fun, Trailer Park Boys is really funny and has a modest amount of violence (at least the first season, might not want to watch the entire 12 season run lol)
Torchwood is really good from what I hear. Haven't gotten around to watch it, but it has really high ratings.
But don't take these suggestions at face value, I'm just spitting out anything that I can think of at the moment.
The sandman. Idk what happened and if it is finished for real because they ended at season 2 because of allegations against one of the writers.
But I watched it and it was really good. It follows a guy who is the personification of dreams and nightmares. He has to escape captivity and go to restore his realm that was destroyed in the time that he was gone.
If you like comics, there is a DC comic of it I think

1000lb sisters. 9 seasons of just wildness. And it's also nice to see the families progress with their weight and everything. The people in the show are complex and it's obviously reality tv but it seems more natural and real because the fights are organic. They don't fight tooo much either.

pen15. It might not be for you but its about two best friends (adults playing a kid) and there life in middle school. It's based on the life of the two adults and it is pretty interesting and funny. It goes into the struggles of middle school girls too and if you're a guy it might not be what you want but it should be worth a try because I even saw how some girls felt during that age.

Common side effects. It's an animated show about a magic mushroom with healing properties. It starts a conspiracy and the magic mushrooms want to stop being used by some people. It's interesting and the voices are easy to relax to.
-- Resident alien. It's about an alien who lands on earth with a mission to destroy it. To blend in he took over the body of a doctor and now needs to play the role. People begin figuring out he's an alien. There is a lot of character development.

American dad is always a good rewatch for me too. The show is always hilarious to me, it's now of the better popular adult animations to me.
Dexter is good if you haven't already watched it. They made a new one called dexter resurrection. Start with the previous (or original sin, gives you an idea about his life as a kid). They're working on a second season for Dexter resurrection. It'll release soon, Im not sure which month I forgot.
