This holiday sucks, what am I supposed to be thankful for? Being born in this shitty world just to be ignored and hated by everyone around me? I will be thankful when I put a bullet in my skull.

I'm hungry and at work so I definitely agree with you
The only thing I have to be Thankful for is this community.I would like to focus on all the things making me sad, lonely, and apathetic today, but instead I'll focus on what I am thankful for. I still have my kids and a roof over my head. Life didn't let him take it all away, and I have a chance to prepare for the next possible phase of life. It's hard to focus on what I do have. I'm just so tired from everything that happened, and I miss my kids so much every time they go to their dad's house.

Halloween or Xmas seems a little bit better,
Not that I know how to celebrate Xmas...

Our Canadian Thanksgiving was last month. Levels of cynicism have since changed and have always been unaffected by American Thanksgiving.
American Thanksgiving is too damn close to Christmas to indulge in that much food in that little time. Like, give yourselves a break before you OD on turkey and that is my unpopular opinion of the day.
