Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I was approved for assisted suicide in Switzerland, but I need someone to act as a witness and identify my corpse afterwards. My friend flaked out on me. I will pay for your trip and hotel. You must have a passport and must be reliable. Please PM me

I'm so sorry it didn't work out with your friend. Honestly I would love to help out, I've got a passport but I'm not sure how long it would take to get visa. I'm not a US citizen, can't travel just with a passport would need visa. But mostly I feel like I'd love to be there for you, just to hug you! Well for whatever internet closeness feels I'm sending you a hug through the internet
mans I suppose congratulations are in order that you got approved!!! CONGRATULATIONS! But also of course I realize it's not easy but rather heavy. I just want you to know that you are not alone, most certainly no!!! I'm with you, and I'm thinking about you, love you forever!!I hope everything works out in the best way for you, you deserve to find whatever it is you want the most! And you deserve love and kindness! God, I will miss you;) P.S.: I've always loved your avi;)

Sorry it came to that for you, but glad you get to do it that way. The real gold standard without fears of failure or permanent injury. I could in theory assist but honestly it seems more complicated than needed.
I have never been to switzerland and i'm unfamiliar with what is available but could you find someone there to assist?
is rentafriend.com in switzerland, or something else? seems more efficient than shipping someone from another country. Though i guess at this stage you may not care.

Ive never heard of that before. How did you manage to get approval for assisted suicide?
Don't they require paperwork from your doctor for proof of attempted treatments, or something? I'm curious how that would be coordinated without getting sent to the psych ward.

Q: I suffer from a mental illness and/or psychological problems. Can DIGNITAS arrange an accompanied suicide for me?
A: This is very difficult, a lengthy and complex proceeding with many obstacles and there is no guarantee to receive the "provisional green light" for an accompanied suicide. It depends much on the quality of the medical file: clear diagnosis of the illness, description of its cause and development, proof of all therapies tried (with or without success) plus an in-depth psychiatric appraisal concerning the capacity of judgement and discernment in regard of the wish for a self-determined end of life, also confirming that this wish is not a symptom of the psychiatric illness but a well-considered balance decision.

I dont think interrogation of OP is warranted. If you are interested in supporting / flying out for OP then PM OP for details. Otherwise questioning their orders serves no purpose.

I would agree with you; it would be a complicated, time intensive process; if ctb by others means would'nt kill you, the convoluted bureaucracies of dignitas and Pegasus most certainly would. In attempt to separate fact from fancy, I will be making it a point to contact them. However, according to their propaganda, it is "thumbs down", if you will.
The price for both is not very expensive; I am fortunate that I have the money and that the respective services provided are fairly price commensurate. One of them (am uncertain as to which one) will permit a canine companion. Again, so much of this is enshrouded in a mystery that can only be resolved with direct contact. Respectfully, I would take no one's word for it, short of direct contact.

I'm neither doubting their honesty nor their sensitivity; it makes sense however, to find out for oneself. Unfortunately, many things remain enshrouded in mystery. If it were otherwise, this site would be superfluous.

Have no idea what your last two sentences mean, but that's cool!
You weren't talking about the meaning of life or any other philosophic questions, you inferred quite plainly that the policies of Pegasos are mysterious. I simply said that they are not. I encourage to you communicate with them.
Again, best of luck. Over & out on this one.

I didn't infer anything. Secondary knowledge is no substitute for direct contact. As for misunderstanding my last two sentences, what's not to understand? I just done feel you have the right to act as a conduit for data that has yet to be verified.
I was under the impression that individuals with emotional illnesses could not use their services, or that was problematic at best. But I will go to both and review them carefully. Thanx.
I'm in the UK so should be able to come on a cheap flight if you're still looking for someone. I accompanied my aunt through her final 20 minutes (stomach cancer). I can only do weekends though. PM me.
I thought assisted suicide was available to people only resident in said jurisdictions or with extreme difficulties if not, plus was under the impression mental illness alone was not considered reasonable enough to be helped to end your life. Am I mistaken or have rules changed?
If so what countries offer Assisted Suicide for mental illness - anyone know?

Much of the requested information is on the respective websites. It may be easier to find information for yourself instead of asking OP. Also did you read through the thread? Some of your questions have been answered.
It would be great if people could either:
Read the organization's websites.
Search SS threads.
PM those who have expressed a desire to assist, or
Create a new thread with questions after doing some basic research.
OP has not answered these general questions so far which says they may have no desire to engage in these topics. OP's thread is only asking someone to PM if they can support their effort.
I'd imagine OP's stress of finding a replacement is enough do deal with, without going through the extra buzz of assisted suicide discussion on SS.
Please try to be considerate of OP.
