I'm wondering if any of the UK members could recommend an area of the UK that is thick forests, with trees that have branches worthy enough to hang from. Please advise—thanks.

Thanks. Epping looks beautiful. Very similar to the northeastern USA, but there are a few elements to Epping forest that make it unique.

As an American I have heard of Sherwood Forest because if I'm not mistaken, that is where the famous fictional Robin Hood story takes place. But from what I can tell on just photos off the web, Sherwood doesn't seem to have the sturdy trees needed for hanging.

I noticed too that there seems to be a yacht club in Epping forest which I think is a bit comical because in the States it has been my experience that yacht clubs are always by the ocean, or very large lakes.

Wow I think about this too. Somewhere natural where I can just end it and not be found in time.
