• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Barely living. Getting up and doing the same routine over and over again. I never asked for this. To be pulled from the void and placed on this earth only to work, eat, sleep, and perform mundane tasks for the rest of my existence. Isn't it disturbing how even as children we have no freedom? We are imprisoned by society since day one.

It sounds like you're after the age old question — what is the meaning of life? Is it purely about survival? If so, the pattern of "work, eat, sleep" might suffice. While most species seem preoccupied with survival, humans, with our advanced brains, seem to seek something more. We believe there has to be something more meaningful about existence.

I fear that there's nothing, and our quest is futile. This is why we suffer. Searching for some meaning that isn't actually there. Destined to be disappointed.

From what I think there is no point as we are all just very advanced chemical machines that seek to pass our genes as much as possible. And being consciousness is a side effect of having too many brain cells.

I have been feeling the same way for almost 2 years now. I'm turning 20 on the Friday and all I can think about is saving my Benzos and Zopiclone for another attempt to CTB. I can not see 21 living like this, it will be torture.

That's basically absurdism in a nutshell.

I think Denis Leary summed it up pretty well when he said:
You have the orgasm eat the cookie, smoke the cigarette and go to bed...

That's all there is...
