Fastest Method?

I'm looking for something that could end it in seconds. Or something irreversible so that even if I'm found it's too late? I know that's not likely it's just for what I have planned timing is key.

Fastest seems to me to be a gun, if you pull the trigger quickly then it's as fast as you're able to do so. Maybe there's something I don't know and another method is faster though. I think jumping/stepping in front of a train/vehicle would be fast as well potentially. Aside from that some poisons would probably be fast acting in the right dosages. But it's hard to say for anything at the same time since every method has a chance for failure, even a gun. I think the right kind of poison could work for the second question, especially if the poison doesn't have an antidote, but that could result in a drawn out death if found with them trying to keep you from the inevitable. But these are all just thoughts, I'd only want to use a gun or poisoning as I don't want to hurt others more than my death and finding my body already will. What is it that you have planned which timing is key for? You don't have to answer, just curious.

Technically if you could vaporize yourself with a laser, that would be the fastest possible way... the speed of light.
Joking aside... I guess it depends on whether you are ok with the pain and error tolerance associated with many of the quick ways, like guns, etc.

Unfortunately guns are very hard to get outside of the US. Don't think I'd be able to do that.

Gunshot has about an 80% success rate4, and surviving this is horrible, often with your face ruined. Train has about a 70% success rate, and survivors often have amputated limbs. If you can jump from a very high height, maybe 20 stories, the success rate is much higher, and it's over in about six seconds, but most people don't have access to this. When you say for what you have planned it would help if you could clarify this- I hope it's nothing violent, but that's one way this could be interpreted.

Nitrogen is my method! Look up "exit bag" or "inert gas asphyxiation". There's a megathread on it here. The idea is that you create an environment without enough oxygen to keep you alive, but nitrogen is an inert gas in that it itself doesn't interact with your body and breathing it in is painless. Done right, you'll be unconscious within a couple breaths, but actual death can take around 20-30 minutes. So it's definitely important that you have some window of time in which you won't be found, but the time to unconsciousness is pretty darn quick (one reason why I like it so much as a method).

Fastest time to death though, is certainly gonna require a violent method. Gunshot, jumping, train, etc.

People saying gunshot, but it's no guarantee you will die right away. You could be laying there bleeding to death and in relative agony. Or you could fail altogether, and be disfigured or disabled.

I would say drug overdose, on opioids or barbiturates through IV. It's literally seconds. Even ingesting drugs it's jut a few minutes to unconsciousness.
