Family keeps screaming

It's usually over money. My alcoholic brother keeps asking for it and my father says no because he doesn't have enough. And then they start their shouting matches. Happens pretty much every morning.

It's the weekend so my brother will be home on Sunday as well. One more loud fight expected tomorrow. My ears and mind can't take any more but I don't have a choice.

I am sure neighbours will tell the cops we fought over financial matters, and the media will report this in articles about my suicide.

I can't wait to be gone soon. Death is the only way out.

I have this as well. It's hell on Earth. I have PTSD from loud noises from war and explosives. My dad doesnt make it nice living. I wish to move out when I get enough money and feel stable. Always yelling over the slightest problem. Hes more mentally ill than I am. My mental illness is that I feel depressed. His is that hes nice for a good hour the next hour hes the devil himself.

My father is extremely bitter. He has been a great father but has also been an extreme enabler of my brother since he was young. My brother now has a huge educational debt of around 40 lakh INR, co-signed by my father. We are all screwed. Nothing can help us

I can't afford them. But it's fine. I can turn both the ceiling and table fans on in my room, and listen to music on my ordinary earphones. It was just that during this particular fight I had left my earphones in the living room.

sucks that's you're also on the same boat. i hope near the time of whatever choice you make, it's at least quiet and peaceful.

my mother is quite similar. it's always not enough money and i heavily suspect she's using at least some part of it on non-prescription pills as of recently. do you get headaches?

I don't think I will ever feel at peace myself though. March is going to be super expensive- they are some additional expenses we have to take on.
My brother earns decent but most of his money goes towards his educay loan. He still has enough to spend on his own transport to work, and whatever extra food he wants, but he chooses to spend towards alcohol. It is maddening. I can't say anything about this because he will bring up the fact I didn't finish college and don't go to work myself. I know I sound like a parasite myself but I don't spend on anything unnecessary. I am trying to eat less to not spend money on that

no worries about venting, i was replying to your thread ab it. it must be difficult that he uses ur lack of education and work over your head, when he has both but chooses to spend it irresponsibly. good luck with the expenses in March. you don't sound like a parasite and please take care.
