So I attemteped this about a month ago before I found this website and didnt really know about compressing the carotid artery.

When I did it I must have just compressed the jugulars because I got that pressure building up feeling but I thought that was just what I had to endure to be successful.

So I lied down and tried to let it happen. Not sure how long it was maybe 10-15 seconds when it felt like I just woke up and I immediately took it off due to survival instinct.

Is it possible I started losing consiouness? Because like I said it felt like I just woke up... what happens if you only compress the jugulars but manage to not give in to survival instinct?

If you don't compress the arteries, your head starts to fill with blood. This is quite inconvenient and you can stop before actually applying compression properly which will lead to nothing but a headache and scar around your neck... This is why in this forum there was enchanted method described, which involves using some kind of padding to compress the exact places where the arteries are.

I think you must be pretty sure about how good the compression is, since you don't want to just kill brain cells, but shut down the whole thing. You must totally lose consciousness and there should be no waking up feeling.
