Failed attempts only. Please tell us 1. the method 2. what happened 3. any consequences

For example, I tried to OD on Tylenol. I got sick and vomited for a few days, like having the flu. My body recovered and I suffered no long term organ damage.

Attempted N2 in a hôtel. Aborted due to SI. Left part of equipment in the room thinking they'll be discarded. Left the country with a flight. Police tracked me down through interpol and asked how I payed for the gas and what I did with it (told them I returned it). They left me alone afterwards. So, yeah. Make sure you take away everything if you do it in a hotel and abort.

I had a friend who went to the psych ward attempting the CO method in a motel. He barely avoided jail; he was accused of trying to burn the motel down.

Ok so I always banked on fentanyl overdose as my exit strategy. I took a small amount in early Oct and woke up in the hospital. I tried to ctb on Nov 9 by snorting a large amount of it. Police found me because my ankle monitor didn't move for 12 hours. Resulted in 2 weeks unconscious on a ventilator, one week in ICU, three more weeks in the hospital, and severe nerve damage, some of which seems to be permanent.
10 weeks later I purchased an even larger amount of fentanyl and loaded into two hypos. I injected one right after the other and woke up less than a hour later.
My point here is don't take any plans for granted. I've had three surprise wake ups now, each more unpleasant than the last. So don't make assumptions and think about what it will be like if you do wake up.

I've tried strangling myself with a ligature (4 mm nylon rope). I put a scarf around my neck then put 2 rolled socks where my carotids are supposed to be. Then I started using the rope starting from the back of my neck, tied the first knot, the second knot, the third knot, the fourth knot. I was going to do a few more knots but since I couldn't stop the blood flow through my carotids, I just felt so hot in the head and thought that my heart moved to my ear. I had a scissor nearby, I tried to cut the rope off but I was shaking too much. I, somehow, got the rope to loosen up then started hysterically crying. I think I would've been gone if I could strangle my carotid arteries. I'm skinny and have found my sweet spot with my thumbs before so I don't know why I couldn't do it with the rope. As for the consequences, I didn't have any rope marks as I used a scarf around my neck. I just haven't been able to relax after the energy bolt I had due to SI.
