Venting Failed 2 methods in 1

Before I joined, there was a night a couple of months ago when I went to Beachy Head and stood right by the edge, walked up by Belle Tout lighthouse past the warning signs and all that shit and really wanted to jump but it's fucking hard to get past the SI.. so I figured I'd get in my car and get drunk then crash. It was late at night. I drunk 2 bottles of wine and ended up rolling my car, being arrested and sectioned till the crisis team saw me. Before anyone says this.. yes I'm a pile of crap for drink driving and risking others. I'll never forgive myself for that.
So now I don't have a car so one method obliterated and can't get to Beachy head again either.
I have access to SN but I'm scared of chemicals. I chose 'venting' because I'm not exactly asking advice, just where else in the world can I talk about this stuff?

Suicide is very difficult after all, as we are programmed to survive. If only there was a way to fall asleep and never wake up. I can imagine it must have been awful to go through all that. I wish you the best whatever happens, I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

SI can be minimised if not eradicated. Maybe try to change your perspective... It's the only path to the end of suffering and hopefully eternal nothingness
