Extracting sn from 6.25%

Has anyone tried extracting pure sn from the 6.25 ones you can get on amazon?

I'm no chemist but I read the directions, they don't seem totally difficult only that from 6.25, the yield is very small and even then it's not guaranteed to be pure enough.

Sorry if this a stupid question lol, again, I'm no chemist but it should technically be possible right? Though it may require lots of time and a lab...
